As a First Nations–owned business, operating across HVAC, electrical, and mechanical services, Mararna is committed to providing real opportunities, delivering quality work, and contributing to community outcomes.
With the Australian Government actively prioritising Aboriginal participation on major projects, our team is built to meet these expectations – and our track record across South Australia demonstrates the success of this approach.
To ensure safety and quality standards are at the highest level, the following ISO certified controls are integrated into our business.
We have developed, implemented, and continually improve an Integrated Management System that includes a Quality Management System compliant with ISO 9001:2015, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality outcomes for our clients.
Our Safety Management System, certified to ISO 45001:2018, demonstrates our ongoing commitment to protecting our people, clients, and communities through proactive risk management, consultation, and continuous improvement.
Through our ISO 14001:2015 certified Environmental Management System, we actively manage our environmental responsibilities to minimise impacts, drive sustainability, and support positive environmental outcomes.
In the Kaurna language, Mararna translates to “many hands”. We chose that name because it embodies our spirit of collaboration, community, and shared purpose. Our logo design was then created to visually represent the essence of our name. The logo artwork was created by Temaana Sanderson Bromley, a proud Adnyamathanha, Narungga, and Wangkangurru Yarluyandi man.
His design symbolises many hands coming together, reflecting our commitment to building strong employment pathways for young Aboriginal people and empowering them to reach their full potential. The logo imagery also acknowledges the land on which our company is grounded, representing the land and sea of Kaurna Country and the deep connection to place that guides all we do.
Electro Data & Generation is a highly regarded Australian provider with a long-standing reputation for technical excellence, compliance, and reliability across complex electrical and energy environments. Through this relationship, Mararna benefits from established systems, industry expertise, and operational support, while remaining an independent, First Nations–owned and operated business. Even more, Mararna is supported by a broader group of aligned businesses, providing depth of capability, shared knowledge, and national reach. These partners allow us to deliver with confidence while staying true to our cultural values and community focus.
